Do I need an account?
No. There is no account to create in the app. You verify the email you used to buy, enter your activation code, and your logs stay on the device. Tools such as BMI use that local data only — calibrEAT never collects it.
Does it work offline?
Your food, water and weight logs live on the device and work without a connection. Looking up foods and scanning barcodes needs internet so we can fetch nutrition from Open Food Facts.
Is my food data private?
Yes. Logs are stored on your device. calibrEAT has no servers holding your meals, no ads, and no analytics tracking your eating.
Where do barcode calories come from?
Packaged foods are looked up in Open Food Facts, a public food database. You can still log meals by hand if a barcode is missing or you prefer to type.
What is True Burn Learning?
After you log food and weigh in, True Burn compares predicted vs actual weight change and nudges your estimated daily burn. It needs a stretch of honest logging — it isn’t a lab measurement.
Can I use it on a phone / tablet?
Your code is active on one device at a time — phone / tablet. Use “Deactivate on this device” in the app to move it, or email support if the old device is gone.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Android is first (the APK is a build in progress). iOS will follow. The same lifetime code you buy here will unlock it when it ships — no extra purchase on Apple.
Is calibrEAT medical advice?
No. It is a personal food, water and weight diary. It does not diagnose, treat or replace a clinician. Talk to a qualified professional before changing how you eat for a medical reason.
